Introduction

Founded in 1852 and now in its 17th generation, our company is the oldest family-run wine-growing house in the DOCG hilly area between the municipalities of Romagnano Sesia and Ghemme, Lower Valsesia, North Eastern Piedmont, which boasts a strong tradition of viticulture handed down over the centuries to the present day. We are proud to see our company continue its activity with true passion and great energy for 7th generations, without interruptions of continuity and commitment. As can be seen from documents dating from 1852, the origins date back to Michelangelo Ioppa, who purchased highly suitable hillside plots in the best areas of the country (including Balsina), which we still cultivate as vineyards.
