Now in its fifth year of production, the mantra of separate among equal parts is sustained through careful vineyard sourcing and reverence during blending trials. Furnished with a broad cache of covetable soil profiles and micro climates, is is the most diversified wine in the Orin Swift Cabernet Sauvignon program. Following a much-lauded vintage, the 2013 harvest exhibited equally distinguished results by rejecting and even thriving off the California drought through vineyard endurance. The results of which are supremely complex and profound flavors in the glass.A dense plum, red visage brilliantly precedes the tasting. Multidimensional aromatics of cassis, currant, mulled dark fruits, and tasty barrique oak perfume the glass. Opulent and rich, the wine explodes with concentrated flavors of black cherry, ripe boysenberry, assorted dark fruits, kirsch, and a topnote of dark roasted espresso. A persuasive mid-palate persists with freshness and closes with supportive tannins that are velvety and polished.
