Introduction

Launched in 2014, the Angels & Cowboys journey began with a sentimental namesake, a bold, mysterious icon and an appreciation for down-to-earth wines. These elements drove the vision to create a wine offering that indulges the lover, the trailblazer and the rule breaker in all of us.

Angels & Cowboys are crafted with fruit from some of Sonoma County’s most prestigious Carneros, Russian River Valley, and Dry Creek Valley growers. The winemaking team draws on traditional and progressive winemaking methods to achieve their standout style of blends. You are invited to buck convention and raise a glass to good friends and great wine!

The deep purple/garnet robe tempts the eye and entices the nose with brandied cherries and mocha. The palate opens with bright briar fruit, lavish hibiscus, luscious honeyberry black fig, and velvety plum. Spicy cola and cardamom add intricate notes and lead to a refined mineral/graphite streak (courtesy of the volcanic soils of the Alexander Valley) that gives the wine dimension and depth. The finish is firm and charged with fine tannins and a sweet, velvety earth note that creates a beautifully balanced tension with the abundant fruit.
