Introduction

Spunky raspberry and citrus aromas come with an herbal kick. This is juicy, rubbery and slightly astringent in feel, with red plum, cherry and medicinal cough drop flavors. A dry, leafy, minty finish is fresh albeit raw and woody. Producer Information The Winery was founded as a Co-operative in 1974 by vine-growers of the region and commenced wine production in 1978. The grapes used are restricted to those grown on the 850 ha of vineyards belonging to the co-operative partners and situated within the limits of the TORO demarcated area (D.O.). Located in Toro (Zamora), the winery boasts modern facilities both for the production and the preservation, ageing and bottling of its wines. In recent years, in what has been a huge contribution to the quality of these wines, a major investment has been made in stoinless steel tanks, controlled fermentation equipment, and cellars for barrel and bottle-ageing.
