Introduction

During Prohibition, when the sale of alcohol was outlawed, many bars and taverns were forced underground. This led to patrons who were planning a night out to whisper or speak easy about these establishments. It was Canadian Club that became the whiskyof choice in exclusive bars based on its reputation for quality and authenticity. In fact CC became the #1 smuggled whisky in the U.S. and the original club whisky in North America.
