Introduction

In the flat areas of Calabria, commonly called plains, grow the precious Clementine fruits born from the cross between bitter oranges and mandarines, which for this reason are locally called ‘Mandarance’. The Caffo distillery is located just a few kilometers from the plain of Gioia Tauro (near the ancient Magna Graecia city Medma), where the best fruits used for this liqueur come from.
