Sawaya Matsumoto Shuhari ID 39-1 Junmai Sake – 720 ml

Introduction

Founded in Yasaka, Kyoto in 1791, Matsumoto Shuzo specializes in brewing premium and unique Japanese sake.In 2016, the brand ‘Shuhari’, which means to protect the past by breaking rules and boundaries, was created to express the terroir and uniqueness of the rice and growers that toji (brewmaster) Hidehiko Matsumoto works with. This Suhari sake is separately prepared based on the paddy field of Yamadanishiki cultivated in Nakatojo Okamoto village. An ID number is given to the sake prepared each year of the harvest.
