The Macallan The Harmony Collection ‘Amber Meadow’

Introduction

The Harmony Collection Amber Meadow is an ode to Scotland, to its dizzying landscapes. Anyone who has ever trodden its vast flowered meadows and fields of barley stretching as far as the eye can see, caressed by the low-angled sun of late summer, knows what it entails. This is the case for the McCartney sisters Stella, the stylist, and Mary, the photographer who spent their childhood exploring them.

The third annual-release in the Harmony Collection has been created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney and celebrates the fertile lands of Scotland. The presentation box and bottle label are made with discarded meadow cuttings and the whisky was matured ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. This has imparted aromas of honeysuckle, coconut and citrus peel on the nose, leading to notes of almond, honeydew melon and green tea on the palate.
