Introduction

Established in 1858 by English immigrant Edward Tyrrell, Tyrrells Wines is one of Australias pre-eminent family owned wineries with vineyards extending from Hunter Valley to Heathcote (VIC). Headed up by fourth generation family member Bruce Tyrrell, it is home to some of Australias most awarded wines. Since 1971, Tyrrells has been awarded over 5,000 trophies and medals and in 2010 was named Winery of the Year by James Hallidays Australian Wine Companion. With the fifth generation involved in the business, Tyrrells will continue to remain family owned with the simple philosophy of producing high quality wine.
