Introduction

Our growing season in 2023 was warmer than average, but was steady and drier than normal. Bloom occurred early, and after a cool and rainy spring, the vines enjoyed a dry and warm but not overly hot growing season. It was picture perfect weather for making the kind of rose we love to drink crisp, clean and completely quaffable! What makes our our Pinot Noir Rose so special? The whole cluster pressing process that we use makes a wine that is both lighter in color and has a softer rounder structure. It’s then fermented in special cigar tanks named cigar tanks because of their tall and skinny shape this shape captures more fruit and fermentation aromatics which makes for a wine that is vibrant and intensely aromatic. The end result is a wine that’s vibrant, bright and easy to drink, you’ll notice a mix of classic strawberry and raspberry notes on the nose with a twist of guava, persimmon and bright grapefruit. This fruitpacked nose is contrasted against a crisp acid profile and mouthwatering finish.
