The aromas in this red make it hard to tip the glass for a sip, showing notes of violet, cassis, wild thyme and chocolate-covered cherries. The rich, full-bodied palate doesn’t disappoint, picking up where the nose left off, with a backbone of graphite adding spiced plum and blackberry. Reveals hints of singed orange peel that fold in around velvety tannins, with rich chocolaty notes that linger and echo back to the core flavors.
